Celebrating 100 Years
1925–2025 | A Century of Cherished Memories

My Dearest Visitor,

In 1925, I opened my doors for the very first time.

My chandeliers sparkled with anticipation. My ballroom echoed with music and laughter. And through every season since, I’ve been lucky enough to welcome travelers from near and far—storytellers, romantics, wanderers, and dreamers like you.

This year, I turn 100.

It’s hard to believe a whole century has passed. I still remember the rustle of silk gowns in the ‘30s, the lovebirds of the ‘50s, the artists and theatergoers who’ve shared so many late nights and lingering mornings within my walls. Every footstep and whisper has become part of my story.

And now, as my 100th birthday festivities draw near, I invite you to help me celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime milestone.

Ever sincerely,

Ashland Springs Hotel
Your devoted Grand Dame since 1925

Before the world whisks you away…

100 Days, 100 Stories, 100 Years of Heart!

If you’ve tucked away a photo or a favorite moment from your time with me, I’d be simply delighted if you’d share it. You can send it along here, or use #DearAshlandSprings on social—I’ll be keeping an eye out, teacup in hand.

For the next 100 days, I’ll be sharing a treasured story or moment as we count down to my 100th birthday celebration. I do hope you’ll follow along (I believe young people call it Instagram and Facebook)—perhaps you’ll spot a familiar face or memory of your own. Whether you said “I do” beneath my chandeliers, celebrated your own birthday at my LARKS Restaurant, or savored a slow morning with coffee at my windows, I’d be truly honored to reminisce with you—one cherished memory at a time.

Leave me a birthday wish….

Whether you’re a dear local friend or a traveler resting under my roof, I invite you to stop by my lobby this summer and sign my birthday card. Write a memory, a well wish, or simply say hello—I’ll be reading every one with great delight. Because a century isn’t just about years… it’s about the people who’ve made them beautiful.

And if anyone asks, I don’t feel a day over 25! My smallest guests keep me young at heart with the sound of their giggles and little footsteps on my stairs, and for that, I’m forever grateful. Please do keep bringing them on your adventures. This Grand Dame looks forward to their visit every time.
