In 1925, I opened my doors for the very first time.
My chandeliers sparkled with anticipation. My ballroom echoed with music and laughter. And through every season since, I’ve been lucky enough to welcome travelers from near and far—storytellers, romantics, wanderers, and dreamers like you.
This year, I turned 100.
It’s hard to believe a whole century has passed. I still remember the rustle of silk gowns in the ‘30s, the lovebirds of the ‘50s, the artists and theatergoers who’ve shared so many late nights and lingering mornings within my walls. Every footstep and whisper has become part of my story.
As we honor this milestone, I invite you to stay awhile—recalling my history, delighting in the present, and imagining the years still to come.

Messages to the Future | Through December 2025
How rare and beautiful it was to mark a moment in time. On September 20, we gathered to tuck away whispers of today—notes, wishes, and memories—into a centennial time capsule, to be opened in 25 years.
While the celebration has passed, the story is not yet finished. Guests and community members are still invited to add their messages through the end of 2025, ensuring that voices from across Ashland and beyond will be heard by future generations.
