Our brides have absolute impeccable style. It’s very exciting to get to witness how brides (and grooms) piece everything together. It takes time, especially when we have access to so many options, to find our “bridal-style.” There are a few things to consider when purchasing your pair of bridal shoes:
Today we had our first wedding of the 2018 wedding season. Congratulations to Harry and Mohan.

We look forward to a wonderful wedding season and booking more beautiful weddings this year and into our next year. It’s what we do! Happy Wedding Planning everyone.
2017 was my first full year here at the Ashland Springs Hotel. It was a year full of happiness, joy, anticipation and many “I-Do’s.” One of my most favorite things about my job is that I get to spend so much time connecting with couples, their friends and family members. Each wedding comes with its own style and personality which keeps each one unique from the other. From the moment that our couples walk through our doors, to the moment that the DJ calls last call, we are here to celebrate, enjoy, and Cheers to their happiest days.
Cheers 2017! You were a beauty! We look forward to enjoying another year of fun, excitement, planning, and to those joyous moments of “I-Do’s”

My main advice to writing vows is to write them from the heart. Here’s a list of ways to develop meaningful, heartfelt vows.
1. Make a Plan. Work out the details with your fiancée. Will you write your vows together or would you like for them to be independent of one another? See if there is a specific format you two will want to follow.
2. Reflection. Spend time reflecting on your feelings about your love. Write down moments in time that you felt overjoyed with feelings and try to describe those moments. Vows that come from the heart will reflect your raw emotions.
3. Start Early. Even if you don’t complete your vows in one day, start writing them early. Take some time to jot down certain moments in your relationship that stood out. Those moments will help you to come up with the words to form your vows. But make sure your vows are ready before the week of the wedding. A lot of things come up the week of the wedding and you will want that time to just be present with your fiancée and loved ones.
4. Find Your Promises. Once the time comes to write your vows, start the editing process. Your vows will more than likely not be the whole story of your love, but snippets of moments that you want to convey to your fiancée. Find the words of promises to one another.
The reigns have been passed here at Ashland Springs Hotel. Our lovely Gina has moved on to a new position and I am happy to announce I am here for your wedding day needs.
My passion for wedding and event planning started over ten years ago when I moved to San Francisco. I was fresh out of school and working as a buyer at Macy’s when I realized that I needed to spread my wings and venture into something that suited my personality better. From there my company was born. Planning weddings in the fast paced city was exhilarating and rewarding and I learned a great deal on what it takes to be a successful business woman. Planning weddings has given me the ability to showcase my love for design, creativity, and even more importantly, to connect with people on their most special day.
There’s so many cell phones at a wedding and every one wanting to capture the picture perfect pose.
Wedding cell phone etiquette:
Turn your phone off during the wedding ceremony. Stay out of the way of the professional photographers and please no iPads. Most importantly do not post any pictures of the bride until after the ceremony. You do not want to be responsible for show the bride in her amazing wedding gown before her groom sees her.
Some of our brides will create their own hashtags. I think the safest thing to do is ASK the bride.
Are you a digital bride?
Now is the time to ask the big question. You want to create a moment to remember. Find out her favorite color, her favorite food, her favorite flower and a beautiful romantic place. This is your time to shine and let your bride know how much you love and adore her. Ask the assistance of your best man to help pull this off. Have fun with it and make it all about her. Your bride will love you for this wonderful beginning to your lives ever after.
