Blackberry just took a double gold at the New York Interational Wine Competition, while Cranberry and Pomegranate took silver and bronze. Local coffee roaster, Noble Coffee Roasting, offers a new line of 100% Organic and Fair Trade Certified coffees. Owned by Jared and Carolyn Rennie as well as Steve and Kelly Sacks, Noble Coffee Roasting is a local micro-roastery that specializes in handcrafting small batches of high-quality, sustainably-produced coffees from around the world. Their coffee can be purchased at fine restaurants and cafés in Ashland and free delivery of freshly roasted coffee is also available from their website. Currently based out of Talent, Noble Coffee Roasting was recently approved to create its café & roastery on ‘A' Street in Ashland, which it hopes open in early spring.

The Quady Family operates two distinct winery operations: Quady Winery of California, and Quady North of Oregon. Quady Winery was founded in 1975, and is America's foremost producer of premium Dessert and Aperitif wines, including Vermouth, Muscat, and Port-style wines. Quady North is committed to small lot, minimally handled wines that reflect the diverse cool-climate vineyards of the State of Jefferson. Quady North's focus is on vineyard select Viognier, Cabernet Franc and Syrah wines that are expressions of the climate, soils and people who farm them.

Rogue Ales
Rogue Ales was founded in 1988 by Jack Joyce, Rob Strasser and Bob Woodell, three corporate types who wanted to go into the food/beverage industry. Rogue's first brewpub was located in Ashland, Oregon and was a 10bbl brewsystem. Rogue opened a second brewpub, 15bbl brewsystem, in May 1989 located in Newport, Oregon. Rogue closed its Ashland operation in 1997, after the great flood destroyed the place. In 1991, the 15bbl system, named Howard after John Maier's former boss, from the Newport brewpub was transferred across the bay to the current brewery and upgraded to a 30bbl system. In 1998 Rogue bought a 50bbl brewsystem, named Kobe. Kobe is the only brewsystem in use.
